(originally written December 2018 when I was still pregnant)
If I had started this post by writing, “I’m in labor!”, quickly followed up with a “just kidding, just trying to attract attention”, and then went on to write a meaningful post… there would be a ton of “congrats!” comments, because people don’t always read everything before commenting.
This is something Adam and I have learned over the years as social media influencers, ESPECIALLY if it’s about a controversial topic. We all read headlines, or listen to only 1 minute of a 20 minute video and form opinions, and then share said opinions. It’s one of the downfalls of living in a fast paced, busy social media world.
And this, this is why I am slightly nervous as I just hit publish on a very personal video about my birth plans. While many of you often say, “you never have to share what you don’t want to”, we appreciate that, but, as you’ll hear in my video, if the lovely Peta Kelly did not share HER birth plans, I wouldn’t be where I am right now.
Sharing your personal life is scary, especially when it’s such a sacred topic. But whenever we post, we keep in mind our higher purpose that we will always help more people than we may “offend”. And that is the thing that will always keep us going!!! We love you guys and are grateful for all of the love you send us ❤️
This video is all about how I overcame fear of being pregnant, going through labor, and birth.
